The Department of Industry and Information Technology of Shandong Province recently released its 2026 Provincial Green Manufacturing list, officially naming Weifang Zhongyun Machinery Co., Ltd. (ZhongyunTech) a Provincial Green Factory. Following its municipal recognition in Weifang earlier this year, this award marks another major milestone in ZhongyunTech's commitment to sustainable manufacturing.
Green Manufacturing: Embedded on the Factory Floor
With over two decades focused on corrugated pipe machines, ZhongyunTech continuously advances energy efficiency, resource recycling, and cleaner operations. In 2025, ZhongyunTech recorded a comprehensive energy consumption of 0.005 tce per 10,000 RMB of output value, while renewable energy utilization reached 35.52%, the solid waste recycling rate hit 100%, and land-use productivity reached 11,400 RMB/m².
Extending Sustainability Across the Machine Lifecycle
In 2025, ZhongyunTech achieved 100% product carbon footprint accounting and completed carbon footprint verification for its corrugated pipe machines. Concurrently, technical upgrade projects targeting energy conservation, carbon reduction, and circular material use continue to weave sustainability into machine design, fabrication, and quality management.
From green factory operations to product-level carbon footprint tracking, ZhongyunTech is establishing a comprehensive sustainability framework that spans both in-house manufacturing and full lifecycle machine performance.
Being named a Shandong Provincial Green Factory reflects ZhongyunTech's current operational standards. Moving forward, ZhongyunTech will accelerate its green, low-carbon transition—integrating sustainable design across R&D, machine production, and customer support to achieve higher energy efficiency, lower emissions, and a cleaner manufacturing ecosystem.
